Red Horse Mountain Ranch exists to “Reconnect People to the Important Things of a Life Well-Lived.” To achieve that mission, we assembled an excellent team that values professionalism, has a positive outlook, takes ownership of their work, and helps us create a safe environment where people can grow and create unforgettable memories.
The Red Horse Mountain Lodge was first built in 1974 as a meeting and gathering place. Relaxation is first in mind with a full bar, library, game room, leather sofas, swimming pool, and breathtaking vistas of the Red Horse Mountain valley. You’ll find the lodge a comfortable and exciting place to meet other guests during your week at Red Horse Mountain Ranch. The Lodge boasts a vaulted ceiling, dining room with a volcanic rock fireplace, a wrap around deck, a Trading Post for souvenirs, and nearly 7,000 square feet of space to relax.
For the second year in a row I spent the most wonderful week at Red Horse Mountain Ranch. Being welcomed back was so great and meeting a whole new group of people added to the experience. What can I say about the food? It was spectacular. Every meal has delicious options and I ate to my hearts content. Where have cheddar beer biscuits been all my life? If you are looking for a ranch to visit – Red Horse is the one for you. You won’t be disappointed.
We loved being able to celebrate with our son, his wife and 2 children (4&7). The kids program has lots to offer and they loved having their “own” horse for the week. We can’t say enough about the staff, who were friendly and caring. The food was excellent, the activities varied and the accommodations very comfortable. Even the 4 yr. old went on the kids’ rides with someone leading her up hilly trails and down. Gorgeous views and cool trails through the trees. Our son is a mountain biker and went on a couple of great trails with the guide. It was just what we wanted-rustic, low key and so much fun.
Absolutely outstanding vacation! Every meal is amazing, everything is homemade, gluten-free choices always available. Maple scones, BBQ ribs to die for, butterscotch cookies…The rooms are clean and comfortable. Never knew Idaho was so beautiful! The wranglers were all fantastic and accommodated different levels of riding skills in our group. Riding was great, up and down hills, beautiful views, lunch rides, walk, trot and lope. They even do your laundry for you!
