Idaho's Red Horse Mountain Ranch is known for its all inclusive dude ranch vacations including an extensive list of guided adventures, well appointed accommodations, first rate western hospitality, and a famous Kids Program for ages 3 and up. Located on 560 deeded acres, and over 300,000 acres of outfitter area, the ranch is a only 1.5 hour drive from the Spokane International Airport, near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The ranch is a perfect location for a western dude ranch vacation. Full service, all-inclusive, week long dude ranch vacations are available from May through October. Special weeks for solo travelers and old friends kick off our season with Single's Week, followed by our Early Summer vacations for adults and families with teenagers. All Inclusive Family Dude Ranch vacations are available from June through August for families with kids ages 3 and up. We conclude our season in the fall with Adult dude ranch vacations available in September and October. Special resort ranch weeks include our popular Girl's Getaway weeks.

Take a Tour of the Ranch
Red Horse Mountain Ranch is tucked away on a private road 5 miles off Highway 97 at the foothills of the Coeur d'Alene Mountains and surrounded by National Forest lands and private property. The landscape is diverse in its recreational amenities. Red Horse experiences all four seasons and is a summer dude ranch resort vacation opportunity from May to October for up to 65 guests.
The main 10,000 square foot lodge, 8 cabins, and vacation home have been expertly constructed with large logs and European style bedding. The ranch is situated at the base of Red Horse Mountain with Blue Lake Creek running through the heart of the valley. Rolling hills rise from the valley floor, offering unique vistas from a well-developed trail system surrounding the ranch. Local peaks 2000 feet above the ranch floor offer amazing views of Lake Coeur d'Alene, rivers and mountains, Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, and even British Columbia on clear days.
Surrounding the resort ranch are a host of seasonal recreational opportunities. Lakes, designated wilderness, downhill and cross-country ski areas, mountain biking, nationally recognized golf courses, whitewater rafting, and resorts are within hours from the ranch. The region is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast providing diverse opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, golfing, rock climbing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. The setting is one of Idaho's perfect places for corporate retreats, family reunions, group meetings, and family ranch vacations.

Our Girls’ Getaway week is by far one of the best weeks at the ranch. Here, the only deadline you’ll have is getting your horse back to the barn in time for cocktail hour. Our Fall Weeks are perfect for singles, couples, friends, or families with older kids. Each evening the lodge will be filled with conversation and festive atmosphere while you enjoy the stars and evenings at the ranch. As the night progresses, enjoy our evening entertainment programs or just sit back and relax, maybe soak in a hot tub under the stars. In the evening retire to your private suites with European bedding, down comforters, and rustic appeal. Red Horse Mountain Ranch embraced the mission of the Dude Ranchers’ Association shortly after its first years in operation to provide returning guests and new guests with a guarantee of quality, safety, professionalism, and responsibility. All members of the Dude Ranchers’ Association must maintain a high quality of accommodations and services in a clean, friendly, safe, professional manner. Members must practice open and honest marketing and advertising when interacting with potential clientele. Members must adhere to all regulations, and provide information to clientele, concerning the responsible and sustainable use of resources. Members and the Association will work in cooperation with Federal and State land agencies to ensure the preservation of resources and habitat. Members must work together in an ethical manner in an effort to promote professional growth within the dude ranching industry.
