Fall at the Ranch ~ Adventure & Relaxation
Horseback riding is just the beginning.
- During our adult weeks at Red Horse, you'll be delighted with chef prepared meals, enjoy a wide range of guided adventure, have your own horse and saddle for the week, and be plush fully tucked away each night in a monstrous pillow topped bed in log cabin on a distant mountain in the middle of Idaho. Our Fall Weeks are perfect for singles, couples, friends, or families with older kids. Each evening the lodge will be filled with conversation and festive atmosphere while you enjoy the stars and evenings at the ranch. As the night progresses, enjoy our evening entertainment programs or just sit back and relax, maybe soak in a hot tub under the stars. In the evening retire to your private suites with European bedding, down comforters, and rustic appeal. Awake in the crisp mountain air to lines of fog rolling through our private valley while the horses search out the first beams of the day's light.
Our Fall Weeks continue with the full schedule of ranch activities: horseback riding, kayaking, archery, sporting clays, challenge course, and many others will be available to you. However, Red Horse Mountain provides plenty of opportunity for a simple bit of R & R as well. Enjoy a massage from our licensed massage therapist, curl up with a book in our library, or simply sit on the deck overlooking the ranch.
- For years Red Horse Mountain Ranch has been well known for its Kids' Program, amazing family adventures, and a week at the ranch full of energy and excitement. But few people know when Fall comes, the ranch becomes quiet, serene, and takes on a completely different feel in the snap of a finger. Horse hooves thunder through the valley. Misted mornings of dense fog lift to clear blue skies and a sense of stillness takes over. The morning blessings of a warm cup of coffee ready you of today's upcoming adventures and why you're a little sore from yesterday. The foothills of the Rockies are beginning to turnshades of red and yellow, spectacular in their own right. Chorused by our nearby elk herd and local campfire cowboys, you'll be blessed with the simple hospitality of a premier Idaho ranch. The quite will help you soon discover that late August and September are months not to be missed at Red Horse Mountain Ranch.

- The ranch becomes a placefor couples to escape the daily regiments of technology and the hustle and bustle of life in the 21st century. As Charlie, one of our guests in the early seasons once put it, "You can be as busy as you want or just simple sit and read a book. I like it both."Imagine having a place where thepeople are "all-in" in making sure you have the best stay. We do it because this is our home, and whether you come again or not, we want to make sure our ranch is a place that leaves goose bumps every time you think of it. Check the reviews. This is how we do things. Not saying the Fall can't get a little crazy - I guess it all depends on what you decide.
