Northern Idaho Kayaking Tours on Thompson Lake
Summer is an excellent time for kayaking in Idaho. The surrounding lakes and rivers will begin to warm up, creating an inviting environment for fun on the water. Much like horseback riding, kayaking allows you to scurry across a beautiful landscape as you take in your surroundings. Located about three miles from RHMR, Thompson Lake is an incredible segment of the Coeur d’Alene Chain. This shallow river inlet is rife with wildlife, including several native bird species—and the occasional moose! And because sunlight can nearly reach the bottom, there is an abundance of bass, panfish, and pike, thanks to warm water temperatures.
